Creative games and activities instil virtues of patience and concentration in the young students. All the classrooms are air cooled. <br></p>Outdoor facilities include separate botanical garden, play fields (both covered and open) with variety of swings, slides, huts, sand-pit and a nice splash pool. Play fields have direct access from classrooms. Here, the lush green lawn energizes them to run around &amp; engage in various games.<br><br>CRAYONS has all this and more. <p style="text-align:justify;">The academic program for the primary section is based on the NCERT curriculum where subjects are taught with the help of hi-tech teaching aids. Emphasis is laid on conceptual clarity rather than on cramming the books. Grading system is followed in primary classes. The teachers act as facilitator. Teaching is mainly interactive, &amp; students are encouraged to explore knowledge rather than given a ready solution. 
Students are taken to computer lab from standard I onwards. A separate lab is provided for lower classes. Here they learn basics of computer working independently on the machine. Spoken English is a very high priority. Students go regularly to English Language Lab with computers, headphones and LCD projector. Here they not only learn correct pronunciation but also how to converse in English.This helps enhance their self confidence. </p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Maths, S.St and Science labs help students to understand various concepts more clearly. Special emphasis is given on Yoga and Indian values. A separate Yoga room provides the right kind of ambience for learning aasans. Here they are also taught our Indian values. </p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">A well thought out homework policy keeps the students adequately engaged at home also. Regular parent-teacher meetings keep the parents abreast with the progress of the students. Parents are encouraged to join efforts of teachers to make the whole exercise of learning a stress free experience. </p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Students learn Indian/Western Dance and also some musical instrument during their music period . In library students are encouraged to read books other than course material . Newspapers, periodicals and other reference books help them learn about the latest happenings around them. </p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><b>SMART CLASSES</b></p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">LCD projector, computer &amp; other equipments are provided in classroom. Scientifically designed software for each subject which matches the CBSE syllabus helps students understand the concepts with video/graphic presentation. All subjects including science, biology, geography, maths, are made very easy to understand.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Building on the concepts imbibed in the previous classes, the students would develop greater understanding of the subject. The focus is on overall development, striking a right balance between academics and co- curricular activities
As the school is affiliated to CBSE follows CBSE curriculum, which is taught with modern methods. It encourages students to develop their talent and realize their full potential. The low student-teacher ratio ensures individual attention. The students are encouraged to follow their creative instincts and grow as responsible human beings.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">When student enters class XI he/she has to decide which stream he/she would like to peruse for rest of his/her life. This is very entricate decision. Any times students opt stream as per their peer groups choice without checking their own. We at KGP suggest the stream the students would opt after a detailed counseling. <p style="text-align:justify;">This is the most important period in the students life. These two years will decide the direction in which his/her career will move. School makes special efforts to ensure that students get best teaching. All practicals prescribed by CBSE are performed in state of art, physics, and chemistry, bio &amp; computer labs. Students with Physical Education get, best practical training in various games as the school has ground for all games.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">After completing the syllabus revision classes are taken. Frequently exams based on CBSE pattern are conducted. Students are guide as to how to attempt papers in exams. </p>
